Job description

Overview

Assistant Managers have a big role to play. When the General Manager is away, you’re in charge. You’ll run shifts, manage the team, provide great feedback, and ensure your team brings our culture and values to life. You’ll live and breathe the key ingredients of the Zizzi customer service journey and coach your team to do the same. You’ll become an expert on our menu and ensure that only perfect plates leave the kitchen. You’ll support the General Manager to meet financial targets and monitor business performance. You’ll take responsibility for making sure the restaurant is always Looking Fabulous.

Responsibilities

• When the General Manager is away, lead shifts, manage the team, provide feedback, and uphold our culture and values.
• Coach team members on delivering the Zizzi customer service journey and menu expertise.
• Maintain high quality food standards to ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets our expectations.
• Support the General Manager to achieve financial targets and monitor business performance.
• Ensure the restaurant presents a consistently positive and welcoming appearance and atmosphere.

As Assistant Manager you will help the General Manager to organise, plan and run the business, coordinating day-to-day responsibilities. You will be a great leader, aiding in team development and be passionate about your role.
