Role Overview

Are you a good, hard‑working manager who is fed up with working late nights & weekends at restaurants, hotels or coffee shops that don’t care? Bring your energy and desire for a company that appreciates its team, maintains evenings, weekends & bank holidays off. We are a small, independent, quality coffee, patisserie & fresh food company seeking a career‑minded manager or assistant manager to elevate our friendly service and achieve business goals. Salary starting at £33k.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a unique, fun, friendly & personal service through a happy workplace & team.
  • Obsess over providing delicious made‑to‑order sweet and savoury food and drinks.
  • Lead the team to achieve sales targets, ATV, labour cost, stock/wastage and other financial metrics.
  • Manage opening & closing, cashing up, and oversee safe & clean preparation of high‑quality coffee & food with Level 2 certified team.
  • Maintain accurate HR records (punctuality & absences) and EHO records.
  • Onboard and train future employees, ensuring they fit in with team culture.
  • Work rotating 8‑hour shifts across three shifts to share responsibilities equally.
Requirements
  • Experience: Required – proven management or assistant management in fast‑paced coffee house environment.
  • Languages: English – Advanced.
  • Employment: Full‑time.
  • Salary: Up to £33,000 yearly.
  • Benefits: Tips etc. & discretionary bonuses.
