Overview

Job Title: Assistant Manager Independence support. 33hrs per week, £24,000 per annum plus expenses.

You will give much needed support for people who want to stay independent in their own homes, while assisting with the day-to-day running of the business. It is a varied role, as each person’s needs are different. A rewarding position that creates great bonds between you and the clients. Roles and responsibilities
  • Housework.
  • Shopping for a customer if they cannot or assisted shopping.
  • Preparing simple meals or help with preparation.
  • Prompting for medication.
  • Laundry and bed changes.
  • Gardening.
  • Assisted walks & activities.
  • Updating website and listings.
  • Updating and sharing rotas with staff and making last minute changes.
  • Monthly sharing data to Manager.
  • Completing initial assessments and client meets with the Manager.
  • Completing ongoing risk assessments with the Manager.
  • Communicating with staff and clients.
  • Answering calls to new and existing customers in absence of the Manager.
