A community-focused housing association in Newark is seeking an experienced individual to manage and support a team dedicated to helping young people aged 16-21. This role involves recruiting new staff, managing performance, and developing supportive partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care and a commitment to achieving a Level 3 qualification while in post. Strong communication and motivational skills are essential for this position.
Salary: £26,737 - £30,389 per annum

Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive Young Person’s Service in Newark. If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Branching Out supports young people aged 16-21 in Newark. You will develop and manage the team to support the young people so that they achieve their full potential.
This busy and dynamic service based in Newark provides support to encourage our young people to be the best version of themselves. Our project’s offers a strengths-based support service which aims to build the skills, confidence and independence of the young people who come through our doors.
Our team play a critical role in advocating for our tenants. From liaising with agencies to help them access permanent accommodation to supporting them to access education or employment training.
37 hours a week. You will be required to work on a rota basis, 365 days per year (weekends and bank holidays included). Rotas are planned as reasonably in advance as possible so you can make time for your other commitments. Shifts operate from 7am – 2.30pm or 2.30pm – 10.00pm.
