An exciting opportunity to join a successful health and fitness business as Assistant Club Manager in Bolsover, Chesterfield. This is a unique opportunity to join an extremely fast-growing franchise business with big growth plans. The gym is a state-of-the-art boutique facility kitted out with top of the range equipment and technology. My client requires a dedicated and passionate Assistant Club Manager who is focused on growing the membership base and delivering a superb member experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving membership sales as well as awareness campaigns in the local community
• Focusing on member retention and high levels of customer service
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and operating the club within guidelines
• Managing, training and developing the in-club team
• Developing marketing campaigns to attract new members while staying within budget

Candidate profile

• Highly driven with a positive and proactive attitude is a must
• Level 2 Fitness qualification and First Aid.
• Commitment to work shifts including weekends.
• A background in fitness and sales
• A strong knowledge of the sales process and generating leads from internal and external sources
• Ideally able to cover group exercise classes when required

This is a fantastic job in fitness which requires the successful individual to work in unison with the Club Manager and be able to take on the ownership of the club is his / her absence. You must be an outgoing character who thrives in and enjoys meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment head on!
