Overview

As an Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability with a firm focus on the customer journey. Ideally you will have hands-on experience as a mechanic, as you will divide your time between the workshop with technicians and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide management and leadership to drive profitability with a focus on the customer journey.
  • Divide time between the workshop and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
  • Deliver high customer satisfaction and experience through effective management.
  • Coach and train colleagues in the moment to improve performance.
  • Utilise technical/mechanical ability or experience in a workshop environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be IT proficient and willing to learn in-house systems.
  • Demonstrate good time management and hold a current valid driving licence.
Requirements
  • Experience / Ability to deliver high customer satisfaction and experience through effective management.
  • Experience / Ability to deliver coaching and training to colleagues in the moment.
  • Technical/Mechanical ability or experience.
  • Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • IT Proficient, with willingness to learn in-house systems.
  • Good time management.
  • A current valid driving licence.
