Assistant Accountant to join our accounts team based in Leeds.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and finance and be willing to learn and develop their skills. The successful candidate will be well organised and maintain excellent attention to detail. As an Assistant Accountant you will be supporting the dealership accountant in the day-to-day functions of the accounts department.

Responsibilities
  • Support the efficient administration of the accounts department.
  • Provide a consistent level of customer service representative of ourselves and our manufacturers.
  • Ensure purchase invoices are logged, approved and appropriately coded.
  • Complete reconciliations.
  • Allocate correct costs including bonuses to the appropriate vehicles.
  • Ensure invoices/credits are issued correctly.
  • Maintain a simple filing system and accurate records for VAT input and output.
  • Maintain good customer contact and demonstrate good communication.
  • Issue supplier statements.
  • Assist the dealership accountant.

Hours

8:30am–5:00pm Monday–Friday.
