Job description
The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Support Officer to join our Asset Information team. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data within our Asset Management System (AMS). You will support data quality, governance, and integration workstreams, while responding to asset information enquiries and requests across multiple channels.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and update asset data in the AMS, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility
  • Support cleansing, validation, and reconciliation of asset data
  • Investigate and respond promptly to asset information enquiries
  • Carry out regular audits and data checks, supporting issue resolution and process improvement
  • Collaborate and support colleagues with planned programming and stock condition activities
  • Oversee the onboarding of new asset data from developments and acquisitions, ensuring key data is populated in the Asset Management System accurately
  • Produce clear reports and dashboards to support regulatory compliance (Decent Homes, HHSRS, SDR)
  • Contribute and support system upgrades and testing activities
  • Use data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain procedures, policies, and training materials, taking on additional tasks as and when required.

The role will be based in our Farringdon office and offers hybrid working arrangements of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Some occasional travel to our main offices may be required from time to time.

What You'll Need
  • Experience managing large datasets, including extraction, manipulation, and analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL (desirable)
  • Knowledge of asset management in social housing or a regulated sector
  • Familiarity with asset management systems, data auditing, and quality techniques (e.g. Apex, PIMSS, Keystone or similar)
  • Experience with automation tools (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently
