Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm in the UK is seeking an experienced engineer to join their Asset Integrity Division. The role involves providing technical assessments and solutions related to structural vibration, as well as project management and client engagement. Candidates must have a degree in engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting. In-depth knowledge of CAD, FEA, and instrumentation for vibration analysis is essential. This position requires travel to client sites, including some offshore work.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years plus providing commercial engineering consulting services to industry.
  • Excellent written and organisational abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects.

Responsibilities

  • Visit client sites to perform structural vibration assessments and consultancy.
  • Prepare job documentation including methodologies and risk assessments.
  • Perform data analysis and technical reporting on project findings.

Skills

Excellent understanding of vibration and dynamic behaviour of structures and machines
Excellent understanding of structural vibration measurement and assessment
Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
Experienced in data analysis and signal processing
Technical reporting skills

Education

Degree in a relevant engineering subject
