A leading technology business in Romsey is searching for an experienced Assembly & Test Technician for a 10-month contract. Are you an experienced Assembly & Test Technician looking for your next contract? Join a leading technology business where your skills in RF testing and electromechanical assembly will make a real impact. This is a 10‑month contract, working onsite in Romsey, offering variety and technical challenge.

Responsibilities
  • Performing RF testing of PCBAs and system sub‑assemblies using automated and manual techniques
  • Carrying out electromechanical assembly of bespoke products
  • Commissioning and final acceptance of full systems prior to delivery
  • Recording and collating test data for future analysis
  • Fault finding and repairing non‑conforming products
Experience
  • Previous experience in electromechanical assembly
  • Familiarity with automated and manual measurement techniques across a range of test equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair non‑conforming products
  • Computer literacy and a basic understanding of electronic principles
  • Knowledge of RF testing (advantageous but not essential)
