Overview

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new contracts, our client requires an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the North West of England. You will be undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys and analytical duties, whilst providing a strong consultancy service to new and existing clients. You will be joining a UKAS accredited asbestos company, who have a busy portfolio. Due to the nature of the new contracts, they are able to consider candidates who are able to undertake singular disciplines (i.e. just surveying or analytical duties, and accompanying qualifications). Experience / Qualifications

• Must have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Ideally will have worked within a UKAS accredited company
• Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 and / or P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
• Working knowledge of HSG 264, HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
• Good literacy and IT skills
• Strong client-facing experience

The Role

• Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial and local authority sites
• Collecting ACM samples from site
• Conducting 4 stage clearances, in addition to background, reassurance, personal, leak and smoke air testing
• Producing thorough written reports for clients
• Meeting with clients to provide technical consultancy advice
• Ensuring to meet / exceed personal targets
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
• Correctly using PPE when attending client premises
• Adhering to strict safety compliance guidelines
