This leading UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, which provides specialist advice and services on all asbestos disciplines nationwide, are currently seeking the services of an experienced and target driven Asbestos Sales Manager based in and around the Yorkshire area. Successful candidates will come from a strong sales management background and have extensive experience growing and developing a varied portfolio of clients. Applications from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield and surrounding areas will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resourcing new contracts whilst managing existing ones.
  • Involvement with the sales, commercial and financial side of the business.
  • Promoting the company’s asbestos services.
  • Produce quotations and submit tenders.
  • Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
  • Build professional working relationships with clients/customers.
  • Maintain company systems.
  • Attend and conduct meetings to discuss the financial position of the business.
  • Achieve target and goals.
  • Assist in the development of the sales staff by providing further training where required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.
  • Develop plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A strong sales, business development, management, technical and office background is essential.
  • Ideally experience working in a business development or sales role within the asbestos or environmental industry.
  • Have a good formal education.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Interested in individuals with certifications p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.
