Due to growth of their business this fast growing asbestos company is currently recruiting for a self-driven Asbestos Operations Manager in the West Midlands, they will consider applications from Birmingham, West Bromwich and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, candidates will come from a strong technical, commercial, operational, office, and educational background and at the same time must have a proven track record of working within the asbestos sector.

Must have good communication, organisational, presentational, leadership, people management and client facing skills.

Will have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in respect of asbestos.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Overseeing staff and ensuring contract operations are coordinated with clients and are carried out effectively in accordance with site operations and company procedures.

Managing staff on site and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety procedures.

Producing method statements, risk assessments and associated site paperwork.

Assisting with tenders and quotations.

Developing and training the team and managing the office.

Carrying out audits – improving quality and achieving satisfaction from clients/customers and staff.

Ensuring that projects are completed within time frame and effectively.

Managing existing and new portfolio of contracts effectively.

Developing new business leads and taking the business forward.

In general, the successful post-holder will be astute and have the ability to deliver good commercial results taking the business to the next step.
