Job Title: Asbestos Office Manager
Location: Walsall, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits: £25k – £35k + Company Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a well‑known asbestos consultancy specializing in asbestos surveying services. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a driven, business‑focused Office Manager to join their West Midlands office. The role requires working efficiently in a busy environment, adapting to company needs, and maintaining excellent customer‑facing and communication skills. The successful candidate will oversee an established team of administrators, enter sales leads using CRM systems, produce invoices, raise purchase orders, and assist the management team with booking appointments and meetings. Career progression and an attractive bonus scheme are offered.

Consideration will be given to candidates from the following locations: Wednesbury, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Birmingham, Cannock, Kidderminster, West Bromwich, Lichfield.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working in office management for an established asbestos company.

  • Proficient with TEAMS and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and organise workload efficiently.
  • Works well both as part of a team and independently.
The Role
  • Ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the office and oversee a team of administrators.
  • Enter jobs into the company’s internal systems as they arrive.
  • Keep internal systems up to date and accurate.
  • Provide support to management.
  • Schedule work for surveyors and arrange accommodation where required.
  • Book appointments and meetings for management.
  • Generate quotes and tenders for clients.
  • Enter sales leads using CRM systems.
  • Book samples using TEAMS to the laboratory.
  • Produce invoices upon completion of work and raise purchase orders.
  • Liaise with clients and ensure any issues are dealt with promptly.
  • Organise workload efficiently in line with company and client needs.
  • Carry out effective document control.
  • Perform general administration duties (filing, scanning documents, answering phone calls, handling email).
