Overview

To manage the provision of Management Information supply to APC business areas and to manage internal Military Secretary's data integrity issues, investigation and timely fault reporting. Will act as the Military Secretary (MS)/Shared Services Connected Ltd (SSCL)/Defence Business Service (DBS) Management Information Team’s point of contact. Management of Joint Personnel Administration (JPA) database Security, Roles and Responsibilities and access control for APC Career Management related Systems.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Provision of Management Information to MS Business Areas in support of business planning and performance assessment against Head APC Key Targets.
• Management of the supply of bespoke information requirements arising within the APC utilising JPA reporting tools, MS Complimentary systems or SSCL/DBS MI Team.
• Trusted route and focal point for access to the Army Career Management role within JPA for the whole of defence. This role requires that the requirements of the customer are met within the current processes, procedures and legislation such as the Data Protection Act.
• Management of first line technical support to APC JPA Users on JPA anomalies.
• Oversee access requests for the Data Preservation Repository Reporting (DPRR), Electronic Document Management (EDM) and File Tracking System (FTS).
• Management of the APC’s Person and Position Career Manager Desk Markers.
• Advise APC stakeholders on ways to utilise Desk Markers to support business activity.
• Provide technical support with regards to Desk Marker issues.
• Assist with Requests for Information.
• Line Manager for 2 Administrative Officer direct reports.
