A leading engineering recruitment agency is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive HVAC solutions sales across the Central & South of England. The role focuses on targeting M&E Consultants and Mechanical Contractors, managing long sales cycles, and delivering professional development sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales track record in HVAC, technical drawing skills, and a proactive approach to project management. The Area Sales Manager will be targeting M&E Consultants and Mechanical Contractors offering a turnkey Air Handling Unit solution. You will be selling a range of HVAC products including: Fan Coil Units, Variable Air Volume units, and a core range of diffusers, dampers, and grills across the Central & South of England regions generating demand with end users, specifiers, and contractors for commercial projects such as offices, hotels, and commercial premises. This territory spans south of Birmingham towards the M4 corridor, as far west as Bristol and east towards Anglia.
In addition to the direct business, the Area Sales Manager will likely be working closely with key resellers in the area. The role will see you working on projects from start to finish across long sales cycles for new assignments or a short term win via breaking spec.
A big part of this role will be delivering CPD’s online and face to face in order to get the product out there in the market, therefore you will be comfortable presenting and telling a story to your clients. You will work closely with the National Sales Manager to target new accounts strategically and get the most out of the area. This role will see you working with market leading product and future product launches which are game-changing in the way air is handled in commercial premises.

£50,000-55,000 DOE + £10k-15 Annual OTE + £6,000 Car allowance + Pension + 25 days holiday
