Responsibilities
The Area Professional Services Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing, coordinating, monitoring, and improving technical competencies of area staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers.
- Leading and monitoring development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies.
- Overseeing workload balancing and ensuring qualified staffing of project teams, as well as leading quality assurance efforts.
- Monitoring project QC Review activities, including assignment of experienced and qualified reviewers.
- Leading activities for continuous improvement, including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Leading and participating in project reviews and supporting project teams with management of claims and losses.
- Leading the Area mentoring initiative and overseeing technical and digital delivery evolution.
- Working with the Area Manager to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with Area, corporate policy, and MOA.
- Providing leadership to assigned business class leaders, including cross-sector leaders, and collaborating with Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders.
- Participating in Area strategic planning and plan implementation, as well as supporting area activities related to hiring and retaining key staff.
- Serving as a champion for BGX opportunities and supporting communication and coordination within all business groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience.
- Maintenance of professional or engineering registration and extensive related technical expertise.
- Experience in management and development of diverse teams.
- Ability to work cooperatively with operations managers, technical staff, and marketing managers on professional services-related efforts.
