Area Professional Services Manager (UK) - (185915)

Responsibilities

The Area Professional Services Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing, coordinating, monitoring, and improving technical competencies of area staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers.
  • Leading and monitoring development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies.
  • Overseeing workload balancing and ensuring qualified staffing of project teams, as well as leading quality assurance efforts.
  • Monitoring project QC Review activities, including assignment of experienced and qualified reviewers.
  • Leading activities for continuous improvement, including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Leading and participating in project reviews and supporting project teams with management of claims and losses.
  • Leading the Area mentoring initiative and overseeing technical and digital delivery evolution.
  • Working with the Area Manager to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with Area, corporate policy, and MOA.
  • Providing leadership to assigned business class leaders, including cross-sector leaders, and collaborating with Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders.
  • Participating in Area strategic planning and plan implementation, as well as supporting area activities related to hiring and retaining key staff.
  • Serving as a champion for BGX opportunities and supporting communication and coordination within all business groups.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience.
  • Maintenance of professional or engineering registration and extensive related technical expertise.
  • Experience in management and development of diverse teams.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with operations managers, technical staff, and marketing managers on professional services-related efforts.
  • Commitment to quality, improvement, and HDR values.
