Salary £28,540.46 per annum

Location: Reading, Watford, Bracknell, High Wycombe, Wokingham

Shift Pattern: Days, Hours per day

The Vacancy

Job Title: Area Maintenance Technician

Location: Reading, Watford, Bracknell, High Wycombe & Wokingham

Working Hours: 40 hours/week, typically Monday – Friday (Flexibility required 24/7)

Job Purpose

This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations.

The role involves non-technical repairs, minor PPMs, and assisting with electrical and mechanical plant works at various sites, all performed to high standards, efficiently and safely, complying with all health and safety legislation.

  • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repairs timely
  • Complete all PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules accurately
  • Respond promptly to service requests from Helpdesk
  • Ensure availability of tools and equipment
  • Work across different sites within the division as needed
  • Maintain quality standards and professional relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Support other technicians with maintenance tasks
  • Monitor and update the Mercury system
Process
  • Comply with health and safety policies
  • Complete mandatory training and modules
  • Communicate effectively within the team
  • Ensure costs are approved before expenditure
Other
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
