Overview

We are looking for an Area Development Manager, responsible for driving business growth, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction across drainage and waste management services within a designated region. This role involves strategic business development, managing customer relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading service delivery improvements. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
  • Develop and implement area business plans to expand drainage and waste management services.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and contracts within the public and private sectors.
  • Deliver sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients in the region.
  • Ensure high service standards and quick resolution of customer issues.
  • Manage service-level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction metrics.
Operational Oversight
  • Oversee drainage and waste service operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Optimise resource allocation, scheduling, and logistics to maximize efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of innovative technologies in waste collection, drainage maintenance, and recycling.
  • Ensure full compliance with local, national, and industry regulations on drainage, waste handling, and disposal.
  • Lead site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Team Leadership
