A reputable architectural practice in Birmingham is seeking a qualified Architect with 3-5 years of experience for diverse projects in commercial and mixed-use sectors. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and a passion for design. Offering a competitive salary of £38,000-£44,000 per year and a supportive team environment, ideal for those looking to grow their skills in an exciting setting.
A friendly, welcoming practice that operate in a broad spectrum of sectors, delivering projects in Residential, Education, Commercial and Leisure, is currently seeking a talented Architect to join their Birmingham city centre based office.
This RIBA chartered Architectural practice has been in operation for near 20 years and has developed into a reputable company, delivering high quality projects across varied sectors. The practice has grown at a sustainable rate and has fared well over the last 2-3 years due to its varied sector coverage and strong reputation. The company operates solely out of Birmingham, with a team of just over 20 people, including Architects, Architectural Technologists, Architectural Assistants and recently an Interior Design team.
As an Architect you will be joining a RIBA chartered practice that works in a wide range of sectors, including Commercial, Education, Residential, Sports, Leisure, Transportation and more. If you enjoy variety and the challenge of working in different sectors regularly, this could be the perfect position for you. The practice uses modern software, including Revit. The office is located very close to Birmingham city centre, about a 10 minute walk from Birmingham New Street station and 7 minutes from Moor Street station, ideal for rail commuters and for those who like a bit of daily activity. The practice has a private, gated car park, suitable for those who drive into work.
The role is for an Architect with approximately 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally accustomed to working on large scale projects in the Mixed-Use or Commercial sectors. You will work on multi-million pound schemes based in the UK and internationally. This is an opportunity to showcase design flair, with emphasis on the early stages of the RIBA plan of work (stages 1-4).
Delivery end experience is advantageous but not essential. You will work both autonomously and as part of a team, so comfort with both settings is important. Project running experience would be beneficial, and for those seeking to gain project running experience this role offers opportunity. The practice uses AutoCAD and Revit predominantly; AutoCAD proficiency is essential, Revit experience desirable (training can be provided).
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package dependent on experience, likely in the region of £38,000-£44,000 per annum.
