Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in architectural design and project management, with proficiency in various design software. You will work on a wide range of retail, cinema, leisure, and mixed-use projects, contributing across all RIBA stages from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects, liaising directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop design solutions and produce high-quality drawings and technical details using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Mentor and support junior team members, including Part 1 and Part 2 Assistants.
- Oversee planning applications and building regulation submissions.
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data for design development.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Engage in negotiations with clients and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and SketchUp for client meetings and project pitches.
Qualifications
- ARB-registered Architect with 2+ years UK based relevant experience.
- Excellent design and technical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience across multiple RIBA work stages.
- Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A degree in Architecture is essential; additional certifications or qualifications are advantageous.
