A reputable higher education institution is seeking a Work Based Learning Tutor to support apprentices in various programmes. The role involves regular communication with apprentices and employers, planning learning paths, and conducting assessments, both remotely and on campus. This is a field-based position requiring flexibility to meet learner needs, with a working pattern from Monday to Friday and occasional out-of-hours responsibilities. The Business Development Office (BDO) leads on employer engagement and apprenticeship delivery, working closely with York St John Business School to provide high-quality degree apprenticeships. The team collaborates with employers, academic colleagues, and external partners to ensure apprenticeships meet industry needs and deliver exceptional learner experiences.
As a Work Based Learning Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting apprentices enrolled on programmes such as the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship, and Senior Leaders Apprenticeship.
This is a field-based role requiring autonomy, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple caseloads across diverse locations.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday as standard, with flexibility required. Regular out-of-hours working, including evenings and occasional weekends, to accommodate learner and employer needs.
