A leading apprenticeship provider in Wirral offers an exciting opportunity to join a local dealership as a Motor Vehicle Technician apprentice. This 3-year program includes comprehensive training both at the workplace and the Suzuki Training Centre in Doncaster, leading to a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance. This role is ideal for those passionate about cars and looking to develop their skills in the automotive industry.
This is an apprenticeship role. An exciting opportunity at your local Suzuki dealership to learn all aspects of the technician job role while working as an apprentice. If cars are your passion, Suzuki provides first class training on the latest products and innovations with dedicated Suzuki trainers to build knowledge and develop your skills. Training will be provided both in the workplace and at the Suzuki Training Centre in Doncaster. You will be committed to the Apprenticeship Programme for 3 years and aim to grow into a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. You should have a grade 4 or above in maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
This is a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by Robert Bosch Ltd. Training is delivered on a block release basis at the Alliance Training Centre in Doncaster. College-based training will be delivered away from home and you will be required to stay in a hotel for 17 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the 3 year duration of the course. All associated costs for training are met by the employer/programme and there will be no cost to you or your parents/guardians. Assessments will be conducted in the workplace by a dedicated training assessor. You will also be assigned a workplace mentor for support in the dealership.
As a result you will receive the following qualification:
GCSEs grades 9–4 (A*–C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English. Please ensure you list all relevant qualifications. If you do not have the required qualifications for this apprenticeship your application will be rejected and you will not be contacted.
No specific skills are required, however an interest in a career in the automotive industry/motor vehicles is essential.
Possibility of a permanent role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
