About the opportunity

Are you looking to kick-start your career in payroll and HR? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Payroll and Benefits Analyst Apprentice.

As part of this role, you will study towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Payroll Administration while gaining hands-on experience in payroll processing, employee benefits, and compliance. You will be supported by experienced payroll and HR professionals, giving you the chance to learn, grow, and make a real impact within Everton Football Club.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of monthly payrolls
  • Supporting the administration of employee benefits including pensions, healthcare, and leave
  • Assisting in the preparation of payroll and HR reports for management
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records
  • Learning how to ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent time management skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is available on a 24-month fixed-term contract, covering the period of the apprenticeship. The location for this role is at the Club’s headquarters in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool, working 35 hours per week.
