Apprentice Maintenance Mechanic

Are you mechanically minded and looking to advance your troubleshooting and technical skills in a best-in-class warehouse facility? As an Apprentice Maintenance Mechanic at Uline, you\'ll join our maintenance team in ensuring all machinery in our new, 1 million-square-foot Etna warehouse is running at peak performance.

No travel required and Uline supplies all necessary tools!

Hours: Monday - Friday: 10:30 AM to 7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment such as pickers, forklifts and conveyor systems to further develop your skills.
• Keep detailed parts inventory and maintenance records.
• Work safely using proper protective equipment and lockout / tagout (LOTO).
• Partner with Maintenance, Warehouse, Facilities and Operations teams on warehouse projects.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school or equivalent.
• 2+ years as a mechanic or other relevant experience.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, parts management and computer skills.
• Ability to travel for one or two trips annually for projects at other Uline locations.
