Job summary

A dental service provider in West Midlands is seeking a Dental Nurse Apprentice to provide chair-side support and assist with reception duties. Candidates must complete a Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Dental Nursing. The role requires good communication skills and a commitment to patient care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Dental Nursing is required.
  • Functional Skills English & maths Level 2 unless exempt.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support.
  • Work in reception and handle patient queries.
  • Answer phone calls and manage appointments.

Role and responsibilities

Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians.

The role will also require working in other areas of the practice such as:

  • Reception
  • Dealing with patient queries
  • Answering the phone
  • Taking payments
  • Booking appointments
Training and qualifications
  • This qualification is a level 3 advanced apprenticeship accredited by City & Guilds and is delivered nationwide through blended interactive E-Learning, enabling learners to access the course from anywhere in the UK
  • Upon achievement the apprentice will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3
  • Functional Skills English & maths level 2 qualifications unless already exempt
Working hours

Monday - Friday, 08.30 - 17.30.
