Job description

Experienced Application Engineer required for Precision Engineering company based in Plymouth. Working within Customer Application Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customers and regional sales teams, facilitating the development of new business, the subsequent introduction of new products, and continuously developing an understanding of the applications and markets in which our client operates. The successful candidate must be prepared to travel, as this role will involve both UK and International travel on a frequent basis.

Key Responsibilities will include :

• Act as the technical-commercial interface with the customer, ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood, assessed, and translated into deliverable solutions.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and international exhibitions, acting as a brand ambassador and technical advisor.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and prospects to uncover new opportunities and increase customer satisfaction.
• Analyse and interpret customer specifications to support the development of bespoke product proposals and ensure alignment with application needs.
