We are looking for individuals with good communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The postholder will be required to work independently and within a team. Knowledge of the systems already in use at the Trust such as Cerner (iCLIP Pro) is essential.

As an organisation, we are on the brink of a major transformation with the rollout of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This is your chance to be part of the digital change, ensuring the safe and effective use of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration and upkeep of clinical systems software, back‑office tools, and related processes.
  • Contribute to the management of the Trust’s clinical documentation systems, including patient and GP email services and associated error‑trapping tools.
  • Utilise clinical systems in both production and development environments, including the use of administrative configuration tools for database maintenance and enhancement.
  • Monitor and maintain clinical application error logs, addressing issues in coordination with internal teams or external suppliers. Log and track issues through the system supplier’s support channels when necessary.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of software upgrades, client installations, and hotfixes. This includes supporting the testing processes with end‑to‑end testing and documentation as required.
  • Provide support for, and contribute to the development of, all iCLIP Pro applications, including but not limited to clinic builds, PowerPlans, PowerChart, Clinical Documentation, Orders Management, Results Review, Medication Management (including ePMA), CapMan, CareCompass, MPage and other related components.
  • Log incidents and service requests with the supplier’s managed service helpdesk and pro‑actively monitor progress to resolution.

We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. We cover some of the most prosperous postcodes in the country, as well as some poorer areas. Together with our colleagues at NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton and Merton, we work to make sure that we deliver the best possible care to the communities we serve.
