The Global Strategy Operations & Performance (GSOP) team serves as a Center of Excellence within Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) business unit focusing on enterprise‑level strategy performance management and operational delivery. We’re a fast‑moving high‑impact team tackling the company’s most important priorities.
The Risk & Remediation program management office (PMO) is specifically focused on driving GMNS process excellence Legal Entity Governance 1LOD Compliance Data Governance and managing large risk‑related initiatives for GMNS.
The objective of the GMNS PMO team is to ensure the successful delivery of a Project called Guardian to uplift the Operational Risk and Control Management strategy within GMNS through strong program management and deep enterprise partnerships.
You will be joining a newly created team called the GMNS Guardian International PMO team that will be working on a high priority and visibility program that touches many teams within GMNS International and across American Express. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for providing program management support across deliverables and ensuring we seamlessly advance the business unit to an elevated risk management model.
