AM2 Examiner
Salary: 45000 - 52000
Location: Oxfordshire
Contract: Permanent, Full time

We are seeking an experienced Electrician who has successfully completed their AM2 exam to join a leading training provider as a full-time AM2 Examiner.

The leading national training organisation supports thousands of apprentices and employers across the electrical, plumbing, and engineering sectors through a mix of specialist centres and college partnerships. With recent growth including new facilities in several UK regions, it is helping to address critical trade skills gaps while supporting the transition to greener technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and maintain a secure and effective induction and assessment programme to optimise centre usage in line with industry requirements.
  • Oversee the registration and assessment process for all candidates, ensuring compliance with established procedures and documentation standards.
  • Keep all assessment records, resources, and systems accurate, up to date, and aligned with quality expectations.
  • Ensure the centre consistently meets approval standards, remaining fully compliant and operational at all times.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to raise awareness and promote the centre's services.
  • Provide responsive and professional support to employers, learners, and stakeholders, addressing training needs, queries, or issues promptly.
Essential Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electrical Systems & Equipment or equivalent, or City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 certificates, or equivalent.
  • A relevant qualification relating to knowledge and understanding of the current edition of the BS 7671 IET Requirements for Electrical Installations.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (Apply online only) / Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Verifiable post-qualification, or apprenticeship, industry experience within an electrical services organisation.
