Job summary

A leading aviation company in Darlington is seeking an experienced Airworthiness Review Engineer to ensure compliance, safety, and operational readiness of the aircraft fleet. You will manage Airworthiness Review Certificate activities according to UK and international regulations, conduct ARC processes, maintain documentation, and provide expert guidance. Candidates must have EASA/CAA Part 66 License and relevant experience. Competitive salary range of £60,000 - £65,000.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of aviation regulations and safety management systems.
  • Ability to hold ARC Form 4 and SC-level security clearance.

Overview

Role: Airworthiness Review Engineer
Location: Darlington
Salary: £60 - £65k

We are seeking an experienced Airworthiness Review Engineer to play a pivotal role ensuring the aircraft fleet remains compliant, safe, and ready for operation. Reporting to the Airworthiness Review Lead, you will be responsible for the effective execution of Airworthiness Review Certificate activities in line with UK and international aviation regulations. You will act as the Regulatory Nominated Person for ARC and equivalent reviews under our national approvals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct and manage ARC processes across the fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of ARC activities.
  • Support aircraft import/export processes and represent Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAM) when required.
  • Contribute to safety investigations and compliance monitoring.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on ARC matters across the business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management.
  • EASA/CAA Part 66 B1/B2 Licence, relevant engineering degree, or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of aviation regulations and safety management systems.
  • Ability to hold ARC Form 4, AD456 Form 4, and SC-level security clearance.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and fast jet operations is advantageous.
  • Applicants must be able to clear SC-level security clearance
