A well-established freight forwarding company in Heathrow is seeking an experienced Air Freight Coordinator to manage end-to-end air import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in air freight operations, a solid understanding of air cargo processes, and the ability to handle customs entries. • Coordinate air import and export shipments from booking through to delivery.
• Prepare and process air freight documentation, including AWBs and customs paperwork.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolving delays or issues proactively.

Join a well-established, multi-modal freight forwarding company as an Air Freight Coordinator, managing end-to-end air import and export operations from their Heathrow office.

What you'll do

• Coordinate air import and export shipments from booking through to delivery
• Prepare and process air freight documentation, including AWBs and customs paperwork
• Monitor and track shipments, resolving delays or issues proactively
• Communicate shipment updates and handle client queries professionally
• Liaise with internal operations, network and sales teams

• Support process improvement and provide holiday cover when required

What you need

• Proven experience within air freight operations in a freight forwarding environment
• Good understanding of air import and export processes and documentation
• Ability to complete import customs entries
• Familiarity with freight systems and tracking software
• Knowledge of air freight products and sales
• Awareness of CDS (advantageous)
