Location: Bristol

Salary: £47,790 - £53,100

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Bristol office.

About This Opportunity:

At Lloyds Banking Group we’re transforming how data and AI power brilliant experiences for our customers and colleagues. Within the new Client Experience & Data Platform you’ll help shape the patterns and tooling that make AI practical at scale, accelerating how models move from prototype to secure, reliable production. It’s a place where you’ll apply modern MLOps, strengthen controls, and make reuse the default so great ideas land faster and safer.

You’ll join a collaborative team that partners with engineering, data science and product to integrate AI/ML solutions into strategic infrastructure and existing systems. You’ll influence standards, improve processes and share knowledge across the community so others can build on firm foundations. If you enjoy turning research into robust delivery, and you’re excited by scaling AI that’s usable, governed and trusted, you’ll feel right at home.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Design reusable patterns, templates and tooling to deploy AI/ML models into production with guidance
  • Scale solutions across strategic infrastructure and integrate them into existing systems within the Client Experience & Data Platform
  • Conduct research using primary data sources to surface trends and inform design decisions
  • Enable colleagues to use data management systems effectively and champion best practice
  • Identify shortcomings in processes, systems and controls then deliver improvements with established change frameworks
  • Strengthen compliance by reviewing non‑compliance in IT security processes and supporting remediation within agreed risk frameworks
Why Lloyds Banking Group:

Like the modern Britain we serve, we're evolving. Investing billions in our people, data, and tech to transform the way we meet the ever-changing needs of our 26 million customers. We're growing with purpose. Join us on our journey and you will too.

What you’ll need:
  • Proven experience deploying AI/ML models into production using modern MLOps practices
  • Hands‑on work scaling AI/ML on cloud or strategic platforms, plus integration with existing enterprise systems
  • Strong data skills, including working knowledge of data management systems and pipelines
  • Practical experience with version control, CI/CD and containerisation to automate build and release
  • Sound grasp of security, risk and governance for AI solutions with an ability to apply controls pragmatically
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to document patterns, coach colleagues and support knowledge sharing
