Are you an organised and creative individual who enjoys working with children? If so, the After School Club Playworker role is for you! With your engaging and friendly approach you will initiate positive play and encourage age-appropriate activities. As an After School Club Playworker you will create a purposeful and inclusive environment, you will ensure the safety and wellbeing of children is maintained at all times. It’s not necessarily your experience as an After School Club Playworker that we’re most interested in, it’s your passion and commitment to our mission, ensuring every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality education.

  • Initiate positive play and encourage age-appropriate activities to support children as they start their school day.
  • Create a purposeful and inclusive environment and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils and support high standards of service and hygiene.
  • Communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with young children; work as part of a team.
