Advanced Practitioner – Qualified Social Worker
Specialism: Care Leaver Development
South Yorkshire | £37 per hour | Part-time – 2.5 days per week

Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker ready to make a lasting difference in the lives of care-experienced young people? We’re looking for a dynamic Advanced Practitioner to join a dedicated Care Leaver Development Team in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking service that supports young people leaving care to build strong foundations for a safer, brighter future.

The Role

• Lead meaningful, direct work with care-experienced young people and their families.
• Complete in-depth assessments and care planning, intervening early to ensure better long-term outcomes.
• Work alongside key partners including police, health services, and early help teams.
• Contribute to safeguarding work, including Section 47 enquiries, Initial Child Protection Conferences, and permanency planning.
• Help bridge the gap between social care and local community support by promoting sustainable, positive change.
• Offer guidance and support to students and unqualified staff, helping shape the next generation of social care professionals.

• A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
