A local council organization in England is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to oversee a team providing critical support to young people. This role involves leadership, development of practice, and direct engagement with families to ensure effective, evidence-based interventions. Candidates should have relevant social work experience and be committed to promoting inclusivity. Additional qualifications include satisfactory pre-employment checks and experience with specific leadership programs. As an Advanced Practitioner you will be part of a wider resourceful team, sharing a passion for providing young people with the best possible outcomes in life. You will make the most of your social work and specialist experience by holding, directing and supporting a team of Intensive Support workers and specialist workers, taking a lead in the development of their practice. Within the role you will have an oversight of delivering effective coordinated evidence‑based support and interventions to young people and their families/carers.

Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence, but this can only be used for certain roles and this campaign does not currently qualify.
