A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time secondment to implement and deliver physiotherapist led MSK ultrasound and guided injection clinics for a one year pilot project.
Candidates must have a post graduate qualification in MSK ultrasound imaging and guided injection and extensive experience in this field, as well as a passion for developing and expanding the role of MSK US within SaTH and the wider profession.
The post holder will assess patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions using advanced clinical reasoning and US imaging skills to diagnose and formulate appropriate management plans.
The post holder will deliver US guided injections where appropriate, adhering to local, national, legal and professional guidelines.
The post holder will work closely with the team manager, operational manager, centre manager and orthopaedic consultant colleagues to implement, promote and evaluate the clinic during the pilot phase. They will gather, analyse and present data regularly throughout the pilot.
