A healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join their team in Peterborough. In this ward-based role, you will lead clinical services, develop guidelines, and train pharmacy staff. The ideal candidate should have a pharmacy degree, GPhC registration, and experience in specialty pharmacy practice. This position offers a part-time, permanent contract with a salary range of £55,690 to £62,682 per year, pro rata.
At North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, we have the opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacist to join our workforce. This static post, based at Peterborough City Hospital, offers the opportunity to further develop clinical skills across a wide range of specialties within the Woman and Child area, including general paediatrics, paediatric oncology, paediatric rheumatology, paediatric high-dependency, neonatal intensive care, antenatal and postnatal obstetrics, gynaecology and breast care. The role is predominantly ward-based, working with the Principal Pharmacist to lead and develop clinical services as part of a small, well-established Pharmacy team, and to train staff rotating through the area. You will also be involved in the development of guidelines, policies, PGDs and formulary reviews, ensuring appropriate use of high-cost drugs, and training of pharmacy staff, nursing, midwifery and medical staff.
