Qualifications

  • HCPC registration is mandatory.
  • Experience as Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist is essential.
  • Experience in a hospital environment and with inpatients is required.

Advanced Occupational Therapist - Inpatients – London / The Portland Hospital, City of Westminster, London, W1W. Full time, permanent. HCPC registered. Salary competitive dependent on experience; excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload independently, delivering best-practice assessments and treatment interventions.
  • Supervise junior staff and work closely with the Lead OT on projects; contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
  • Provide inpatient care across a range of areas, including PICU, cardiac cases, and NICU when appropriate; contribute to outpatient services such as neurorehab, autism, sensory processing, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and seating assessments.
  • Cross-cover sections and departments to broaden expertise; participate in continuous learning and CPD opportunities.
Qualifications
  • HCPC registered
  • Relevant Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience as Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in a hospital environment and inpatients
  • Experience in service development
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and work as an MDT
