A prominent healthcare provider in London is seeking a Band 7 nurse practitioner with advanced clinical skills in HIV care. This role involves delivering high-quality clinical care to outpatient and dayward services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and managing patient care independently. Candidates should have a nursing degree and significant experience in HIV. This is a fixed-term full-time position based at St Mary’s Hospital.
The HIV team is recruiting a 12-month fixed term (maternity leave cover) band 7 nurse practitioner in HIV. Using advanced clinical skills the post holder will deliver advanced clinical care to our HIV patients in the outpatient and HIV dayward service. Based at St Mary’s hospital providing HIV care of the highest quality to over 3,200 patients, this role will suit a skilled and motivated practitioner with contemporary knowledge of HIV and interest in HIV issues. You will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. The role requires a desire to move the service forward using detailed knowledge of factors influencing HIV care provision in today’s NHS.
We require: 1st Level registered nurse (Adult or equivalent); current clinical HIV experience; able to work at an advanced level using PGDs, independent nurse prescribing and clinical guidance documents; a degree in nursing / health promotion / public health or related appropriate clinical discipline.
