Responsibilities
- Provide advanced patient care: Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Lead clinical decision-making: Use evidence-based practice to manage complex cases, including prescribing medications and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
- Promote education and training: Act as a clinical role model and mentor to nursing staff, junior healthcare professionals, and students, promoting lifelong learning and professional development.
- Drive quality improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols, guidelines, and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Deliver culturally competent care: Acknowledge and respect the diverse backgrounds, values, and needs of patients, ensuring equity and inclusion at the forefront of care delivery.
- Provide leadership: Support and guide teams through change processes, ensuring positive outcomes for both staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active license.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Advanced Clinical Practice, or a relevant field.
- Accredited qualification as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner or equivalent.
- Proven clinical experience in advanced practice roles, with robust diagnostic, prescribing, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare ethics, inclusivity, and patient-centered care.
- Advanced knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to team collaboration.

Day-to-Day
- Conduct autonomous clinics, assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with acute, chronic, and complex conditions.
- Review and analyze diagnostic results, formulating treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to drive improved patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments while adhering to national and organizational protocols.
- Keep meticulous and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Evaluate and reflect on current practices to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based changes.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work culture, ensuring all team members feel valued and supported.
