What you’ll be doing

• Comprehensive Training: Gain hands‑on experience in installing, terminating, and testing electrical equipment by working from wiring diagrams, planned drawings, and company procedures in a high‑tech marine environment.
• Diverse Skill Development: Develop expertise in installing a variety of electrical components and systems, including main distribution boards, fire detection systems, and integrated platform management systems during ship construction.
• Extensive Cabling Experience: Work with approximately 60+ miles of cabling on Type 26 vessels, ensuring each cable end is properly terminated, tested, and operational.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in check‑wire activities to verify system integrity and compliance with schematics, ensuring readiness for handover to the commissioning team.
• Professional Standards: Acquire high‑quality skills and techniques necessary for professional electrical and electro‑mechanical installation, contributing to the successful delivery of advanced marine systems.
