Job title: Advanced Apprentice Engineering - Ship Design
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Starting from £23,272 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What you’ll be doing
  • Use a 3D modelling/CAD Software to design ship’s structure, internal layouts as well as the ships pipework, electrical & ventilation systems.
  • Produce and develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards.
  • Carry out detail design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure all standards are maintained.
  • Carry out investigations into operational problems or developments.
  • Develop and prepare solutions, either on your own or as a member of a team.
