Overview

Claremont Fan Court School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator (HR & Compliance) to join our welcoming HR team. Supporting a busy and varied HR department, this role would suit someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Working closely with the HR manager and HR advisor, this role will provide vital administrative support across HR, recruitment and compliance, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting pre-employment checks and maintaining accurate compliance records
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns through advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, welcoming candidates and ensuring the smooth running of interview days
  • Keeping HR systems (iTrent and SIMS) accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring accurate compliance records for all contractors, external clubs, volunteers and third parties
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, delivering a professional and approachable service
  • Providing wider HR administrative support, including file maintenance, workflow tracking and absence recording
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a professional administrative role.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (experience with iTrent or SIMS is an advantage).
  • The ability to prioritise, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to competing demands.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.
Details & Benefits

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 depending on skills & experience

Contract: Permanent. Location: Claremont Fan Court School. Hours: Full-time, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday throughout the year.
