Job description
Role Overview

The purpose of this post is to provide support to the Associate Registrar (Academic Services) and Academic Services Manager. The role includes supervising the Academic Services Officer and taking responsibility for various areas of Academic Services. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Delegate workload to the Academic Services Administrator to support the overall delivery of Academic Services tasks
  • Collate and distribute information from partner agencies
  • Co‑ordinate and support the preparation of Assessment Boards, Exams, Enrolment and other areas of Academic Services
  • Daily check Power BI reports to ensure accuracy and quality of data stored within Thesis, highlighting any areas of concern to the Academic Services Leadership Team
  • Deal with queries by telephone, letter, e‑mail and face‑to‑face from academic and professional services colleagues and students regarding registry issues
  • Ensure all information stored in the Student Management System is accurate
  • Supervise the Academic Services Administrator and train new staff members
Qualifications

  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook Mail

  • Willingness to work additional hours at peak periods and travel between university sites and occasionally off‑site
