Rapier Employment are currently looking for an Operations/Transport Administrator for a 6‑month maternity leave cover.

Job Title: Operations/Transport Administrator
Location: Abingdon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00 (40 hours per week). Some flexibility on start times
Salary: £28,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Up to 6 months maternity leave cover

Key responsibilities
  • Record meeting minutes and action points with accuracy
  • Update schedules per direction of Operation leaders
  • Responsible for raining and monitoring all Operations Purchase Orders (inc. Freight, Transport expenses, supplies etc.) and liaise with finance team on any issues
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
  • Update and maintain key operational management systems, including all digital and hard copy documentation
  • Update operational dashboards and boards as requested
  • Liaise with transport suppliers regarding breakdowns/defects
  • Update systems with relevant defect sign off paperwork
  • Act in a professional manner at all times, including when communicating with Vendors, demonstrating the company values
