A regional mental health service in Canterbury is seeking a dynamic part-time Administrator for their administration team. The role involves providing essential support including data entry, managing communications, and supervising junior staff. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience in administration, and customer service skills. The position offers a salary of £24,465 per annum, pro rata, and requires a commitment to a six-month probation period.
The following post has become available within KMPT for a dynamic, self-motivated, forward thinking Administrator. The position will be within the Ashford & Canterbury Mental Health Together (MHT) administration team, based at Laurel House, Canterbury for 30 hours per week, and will provide full secretarial and administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be educated to grade C or above GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent, and possess an NVQ Level 3/RSA3 or equivalent.
This post is subject to a six month probationary period.
Prior to interview you will be required to undertake numeracy, literacy and Trust values tests.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organisational and keyboard skills, be a competent audio typist, and possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. They will also pay close attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines, be adaptable to changing/challenging situations and able to manage and prioritise their own work efficiently.
