Job description
Overview

Administration Support for Head of Catering, Contracts and Performance – NHS Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. Based at Acklam Road Hospital, Middlesbrough. This is a job share/part-time role (22.5 hours per week) with Monday to Wednesday, 9am–5pm.

The post holder will support the Head of Catering, Contracts & Performance and the team in the Trust’s Hotel Services Catering, Contracts & Performance Team. The role involves contributing to planning and production of trust-wide menus, assisting in writing contract tenders, managing calendars and emails, organizing and minuting meetings, producing KPI reports, maintaining action logs and in-house financial records, and handling incoming calls with general administrative support. Excellent communication and customer care skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality, are essential.

Please note: You must have the Right to Work in the UK to be eligible for appointment. The role does not meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Catering, Contracts & Performance and the team.
  • Assist with planning and production of trust-wide menus and writing contract tenders.
  • Manage calendars and emails; organize and minuting of meetings; production and distribution of KPI reports.
  • Maintain action logs and in-house financial records; handle incoming phone calls; provide general administrative support.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate excellent communication and customer care skills.
Qualifications and Skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration (essential).
  • Experience of providing administrative support; competency in Microsoft Office.
  • ECDL Level 1 & 2 (essential).
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail; ability to prioritise; accurate keyboard/typing.
  • Desirable: experience in admin support in contract management.
