A leading law firm is seeking an Administration Assistant for its Newcastle office. The role involves general file maintenance, diary management, and assisting Fee Earners with administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience in a legal or office environment, strong organisational skills, and a flexible approach to work. Our Real Estate team provides a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property to an excellent and diverse client base. This role is an opportunity to join an innovative and high performing, busy team. Our focus is on delivering a first class client service. Our clients range from major retailers, leisure operators, regional developers, local authorities and universities. We use bespoke case management systems to ensure that all documents are accurate and consistent, and our procedures are followed and deadlines met.
We are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join our team in Newcastle.
As an Administration Assistant you will work as part of a team, assisting with all aspects of administration in accordance with the instructions from Fee Earners in the team.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be;

As an Administration Assistant you will also ensure you comply with relevant Weightmans and client policies and procedures, and consistently work in accordance with our values.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a similar role and in a similar environment. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We are also looking for you to have:
Experience in a busy legal/office environment is desirable
Have a Law Degree or a LPC (or studying towards) is desirable
A keen interest and willingness to learn all aspects of the relevant practice area
Candidate must be a team player
Are able to show initiative and be self-motivated when required to work on own
Strong organisational and communication skills
You must have the ability to prioritise tasks and your workload
Have good housekeeping skills
A ‘ will try anything' approach
Knowledge of computers and office equipment
You will be working with spreadsheets, Collecting data and producing MI reports
