Job description

We are pleased to offer volunteer opportunities to provide administrative support within the Talking Therapies teams in Scunthorpe, Rotherham, and Doncaster. Please specify your preferred location when applying. Talking Therapies offers free, confidential support for individuals facing mental health challenges such as stress, depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, and OCD. The service provides psychological treatments for those over 18 experiencing common mental health symptoms. Additionally, the service has an employment support team to assist with work-related issues, helping patients to stay in, return to, or find employment.

We seek empathic and motivated volunteers to support administrative functions, including:

  • Greeting visitors and providing refreshments
  • Responding to inquiries politely and initiating appropriate responses
  • Answering telephones
  • Reminding patients of appointments via phone
  • Delivering and collecting documents within the site
  • Preparing patient packs and information
  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties as needed
